Hello, I’m Lexie
a wallpaper designer and artist.
I live and breathe color and pattern.
And I write this blog to help you navigate the world of interior design and decor so you can transform your home into a welcoming space, a safe haven for you and your loved ones.
My art Process
1
Each of my designs starts with a walk in nature or a museum trip. I’m one of those people who happily study medieval tapestries, ancient mosaics or enjoy a long forest walk listening to birds and watching animals.
2
I take photos and make hand-drawn sketches. Sometimes, when my “models” sit still long enough, I even get to sketch them live! Those motifs end up in my acrylic paintings or ink drawings.
3
Then I process them on my computer, one by one, to create high-quality, scaleable images that can become a mural wallpaper, or upholstery fabric, or a cushion to bring together your room.
My inspiration
art history
I believe it’s all been done before. and we should be learning from art history.
nature
Being outside in the golden hour, taking in a breathtaking sunset, or viewing foliage dance in a soft breeze is what kicks my creative mind into action! Capturing those precious moments gives me great pleasure and I make a lot of effort to transfer that feeling of connecting to true beauty into my art.
Travel
I have traveled to 55+ countries and interacted with people from 95 different nationalities. Being a first-hand explorer of different cultures and lifestyles has taught me that people from all walks of life long for beauty and creating a comfortable, welcoming home.

textile
Textile is my first love. I remember playing with fabric swatches under my Mom’s sewing table, and that was only beginning! Before finishing high school, I was a certified tailor and my first education was a fashion design school. as a teenager. From the moment we’re born we’re swaddled in textile, and buried in it.

My Manifesto
Through my interaction with people from all walks of life in 95 different nationalities I’ve seen, that through the best and the worst, it’s all about love. Loving God, loving your family, loving your home and extending love to your neighbor.
No matter their circumstances people crave love and beauty.
Hatred doesn’t eliminate hatred, misery doesn’t cure misery. Love restores to life and beauty heals.
That’s why I pour all of my heart helping people, one room at a time, to create a beautiful hospitable environment.
My way to express that healing beauty is reaching out to what has worked for centuries – the timeless beauty that families passed on to next generations as their legacy and heritage.
All my designs are firmly rooted in art history which, I believe, belongs to every human soul and is not limited to one specific nation, culture or race.
The best designs throughout history come from nature: florals, animals and landscapes. No people group can or should claim ownership of that as it’s God’s creation to be admired and cherished by us all.
I believe it’s all about artist’s own interpretation of the timeless motifs and then each final design is highly personal and belongs specifically to the creator.
